Stems Fresno captured the spirit of Cuba with this Havana Nights party theme for Community Medical Center's annual mixer event. This has to be one of the most detail-specific events we've done from dominos and vintage trunk cases to cigars and cuban treats. We cranked up the mambo and Afro-Cuban beats and welcomed Summer with this fun event design at The Palms restaurant in Fresno, CA!
HALF OF MY HEART IS IN HAVANA
As guests arrived to the party, the gentleman were welcomed with a fedora hat and the ladies a beautiful white gardenia hair clip. This photo op wall was a huge statement adorned with tropical greenery, fresh bananas, large domino game pieces and two vintage wicker chairs.
We brought in many vintage pieces to give the authentic old world feel of Cuba dating back to the 1920s. Rich browns, deep greens, and lush looking palm are essential in creating a Cuban oasis - inside and out! Every detail was thought out with the antique bird cage and vintage books to the funky Cuban themed trinket trays from RSVP Style. The rattan side table, book case and vintage desk delivered the authentic tropical vibe of Cuba.
Serving up a tasty menu is vital to a themed party! RSVP Style in Fresno designed and cerated the custom menu signs from specialty cocktails to delectable Cuban treats like polovian shortbread and guava strudel. Vintage cigar boxes were playfully placed throughout the venue. Fresh fruits displayed in wooden crates added bursts of color to the space and an authentic Havana feel.
